What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager-Facility Manager position at Flagship Staffing Services?
Must have a clear background. Contract on-site position. Lasting approximately 4 months or longer.
Monday to Friday. 8 am to 4 pm. 1-hour lunch. 35 hour work week.
Must be experienced and professional. Experience gained through employment in an admirative position in a public or private agency involving correctional , rehabilitative or adults programs.
There will be extensive training. Must have experience providing support to the staff, inmate, non-uniformed staff and to the Assistant Director of Institutions and Operations.
Experience overseeing security issues and manages all correction services of the institution under the general supervisor of the Assistant Director.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the practices, methods and techniques of adult correctional and custodial work, a working knowledge of, and skill in the use of firearms and other protective weapons, a working knowledge of the skill in physical defense techniques, the ability to plan organize and review work of the correctional officers and other personal on all shifts in an adult correctional institutions.
The ability to exercise good judgement in recognizing an dealing with the personal, emotions and adjustment problems of inmates under varying conditions.
