The Role
Lila is seeking a dedicated and skilled Principal Scientist, Antibody Engineering to join our team. The role will focus on peptide or antibody production, discovery, and engineering through hit optimization and lead identification. Familiarity with AI-guided protein design is a plus, and experience in leading teams and utilizing automated systems to assay therapeutic properties is a must.
Responsibilities Include :
- Lead and manage projects focused on peptide or antibody production, discovery, and engineering.
- Optimize hits and identify leads for therapeutic development.
- Utilize automated systems to assay protein binding, kinetics, and other therapeutic properties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-guided protein design into the discovery process.
- Mentor and guide junior scientists and team members.
- Stay current with the latest scientific advancements and integrate new techniques and technologies into the research workflow.
