SHOWROOM ASSISTANT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Interaction & Product Knowledge:
- Build and maintain knowledge of our products
- Greet clients, solicit and understand their needs and wants, and guide them to appropriate selections
Appointments & Requests Management:
- Schedule appointments, following protocol to maximize efficiency in the calendar
- Receive service and repair work, communicating clearly about services we do and do not offer
Mail & Deliveries:
- Receive and check deliveries, including freight, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition
- Move incoming product to storage area. Must be able to lift 20 lbs
Showroom Maintenance:
- Keep the showroom tidy by vacuuming, dusting, and organizing products and displays
Project Management:
- Update our CRM and the kanban board with accurate notes on client and job details to ensure smooth follow-ups
- Communicate with other staff including the designer, installer, and repairman about ongoing projects and client needs
Product Status & Payment Processing:
- Check the status of product orders and updates, and inform the team and clients
- Process client payments at the point of sale, including cash, check, and card transactions
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities
- Comfortable using basic office tools (email, CRM, etc.) and learning new software
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail
- Experience in retail or showroom settings is a plus, but not required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
