What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tile and Flooring Showroom Consultant position at Greenlee Designer Surfaces?
Our Stone, Tile and Flooring Company is looking for a Showroom Consultant to join our team. We have been in business for over 25 years. The position is full time and requires attention to details and someone who enjoys working with people helping them to select and design surfaces in slab, tile, carpet, wood and LVT. Duties include the following:
Greet clients to our beautiful showroom and assesses needs
Handle incoming phone calls and follow-up calls.
Provide design details for approval by client and for bidding purposes
Ordering samples required for job presentations
Prepare estimates and other documents for presentation to the client.
Close deals with clients and collect monies
Computer skills necessary with Google Drive, AutoCad and Quickbooks a plus but not required.
Duties include keeping showroom neat and clean.
Check out and check in samples for clients
Thoughts for a long term commitment a plus.
Knowledge of tile, stone, wood, carpet and LV a plus. An eye for color and design is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
