The Flagstaff Family Food Center opened in 1991 as a soup kitchen. Since then, it has grown into the largest Food Bank And Kitchen in Northern Arizona. Its mission statement is Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Every Day. In 2024, FFFC provided over 7.3 million lbs. of food to 7,000 households. FFFC partners with many local organizations to serve at-risk and under-served families where they are with fresh produce and groceries six days a week.
About the Warehouse Associate Position:
The Warehouse Associate must have a clean MVD driving record and a valid driver's license.
This position involves daily assignments in any of the following:
- Warehouse and food box distribution
- Food recovery/pickup from local businesses
- Mobile food box distributions
- Receiving and storing food donations
- Maintaining clean and safe facilities
- General operations support
General Warehouse duties include using the following:
- Forklift
- Pallet Jack
- Electric Pallet Jack
The Warehouse Associate must have a positive, respectful demeanor with clients, volunteers, and staff to support the mission of the Flagstaff Family Food Center. This position reports to the Senior Warehouse Manager.
Required skills:
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds
- Ability to communicate and work with multiple supervisors, staff, and volunteers
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Integrity, humility, and reliability
Working schedule:
- 8 hour shifts, full time
- Weekend availability
