Position Title: FACTS Enrichment Activity Leader
Department/Section: FACTS Program/ District Wide
Supervisor: FACTS Coordinator/FACTS Site Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $18.75/hour (depending on experience)
Pay Grade: 21
Schedule: 19-24 hours/week, 9 Months, Non-Benefit eligible, ASRS eligible (20 hours or more per week)
Summary Of Function
This position is for highly motivated and hard working people who are passionate about working with children in a team oriented environment. This position is responsible for providing positive supervision and interactions typically with groups of 15-20 students at a time during the out-of-school time hours. This position assists in the planning and coordination of daily enrichment clubs and activities, and occasional field trips, while actively engaging students in positive character development. A FACTS team member is excited to enrich students’ lives on a personal and professional level. Typical Tasks
This position has no supervisory responsibilities except in the absence of the Enrichment Specialist and if appointed to be in charge by the FACTS Coordinator.

Typical Tasks
- Model positive personal character at all times.
- Take responsibility for the safety of the students in FACTS.
- As part of a team plan and implement enrichment clubs and activities.
- Actively engage with children during play and enrichment activities.
- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain accurate rosters of students in attendance.
- Prepare and distribute pre-packaged snacks.
- Be supportive of other team members.
- Be responsible for ensuring the quality and condition of all supplies, equipment and materials used by the FACTS Program.
- Follow all Department of Health Services and Department of Economic Security regulations and FUSD policies and guidelines.
- Have knowledge of handling payments submitted by parents.
- Arrive at work prepared at the start of your work shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Able to consistently demonstrate positive personal character.
- Ability to stay calm and positive in stressful situations.
- Ability to complete essential duties at a high level.
- Ability to work the daily hours assigned by the FACTS Program.
- No substantiated cases of child abuse, neglect, or endangerment.
- High school graduate or equivalent certification required.
- Higher education is preferred, but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age.

- Mantoux TB test
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP Clearance to remain valid for duration of employment)
- DCS 1083C Background check confirming there are no substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect
- AZ Early Childhood Registry (training provided)
