Serve as a Homeless Liaison and Program Secretary for the District's Family Resource Center (FRC) which provides classes and workshops for families and students, family services, community referrals, tutoring and homework assistance, computer and internet access. The goal of the Family Resource Center is to increase parental involvement in education and to support positive interactions between the home and school.

- Provide families and individuals with direct assistance, information, referrals to schools and agencies, and service information; assist with initial contacts as needed.
- Provide positive and supportive customer service in all interactions with parents and other family members.
- Help oversee activities provided through the Family Resource Center, including:
- development and distribution of a monthly calendar to schools and the community
- logistical support for scheduled meetings, workshops and tutoring; and,
- collation and distribution of publicity materials, public service announcements, flyers, and other print advertising to promote the services of the FRC and family services within Educational Enrichment.
- Assist with the collection of data regarding center utilization (i.e., visitor sign-in records, phone logs, etc.).
- Provide direct services to homeless families. Services include intake/identification of needs, coordination between family, school and district transportation, utilization of the onsite food and clothing bank and laundry/shower facility.
- Facilitate the ongoing maintenance of the FRC to ensure the facility is clean, inviting and family-friendly. Assist with set-up and clean-up of FRC activities. Duties require ability to lift and transfer 40 pounds.
- Assist with inventorying, ordering, purchasing and delivery of supplies and materials for the FRC.
- Attend school and community open houses/activity fairs as assigned to inform families of FRC services.
- Care for children during scheduled childcare or family activities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
