Electrical Tester

Job Posting: Electrical Tester Level 1

Location: Flexible hours, 4 AM - 2:30 PM EST, with overtime available daily and on Saturdays.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and self-driven individual to join our Testing Team. This cross-functional team emphasizes excellence and collaboration, ensuring we meet and exceed customer expectations with high-quality products. The Tester will evaluate electrical systems, detect faulty wiring, and ensure compliance with electrical standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Follow SOPs to functionally test manual and automated AC chamber boxes.
• Adhere to safety standards (OSHA, NFPA-70E).
• Utilize multimeters and measurement tools effectively.
• Troubleshoot issues using schematics to the component level.
• Log data into spreadsheets and forms, including system information.
• Collaborate with team members to solve problems.
• Complete job training in Thermography Level 1, capturing, analyzing, and creating thermal reports for customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a panel builder.
• Ability to troubleshoot errors and rebuild components.
• Technical degree or relevant experience in a testing role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Background in electrical systems, with the ability to understand, interpret, and troubleshoot to the component level.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow test procedures and document findings thoroughly.

Additional Information:

This is a Tester Level 1 position with opportunities for growth. Proper PPE, including a uniform, is required for testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

• Electrical systems: 3 years (Required)
