Strip Line Operator 2 : 00pm-10 : 30pm
This position is responsible for running multiple machines as well as a chemical stripping line.
Primary Functions
2.1 Follow verbal and written instructions from Supervisor, and conduct oneself according to Internal policies, procedures, and standards of behavior.
2.2 Operation of chemical stripping line
2.3 Grit blasting and / or water jet blasting
2.4 Furnace operation
2.5 Part blending
2.6 Good attitude and willingness to learn
2.7 Ensures production schedule is met as needed
2.8 Submits request to supervisor for purchased items
2.9 Basic understanding process controls and QMS
3.0 Additional Duties
3.1 Performs additional duties from time to time as requested by the supervisor.
3.2 Assists teammates as needed
3.3 Maintain a clean and organized work area
3.4 Basic computer skills
4.0 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
4.1 Mechanical ability required
4.2 Part handing
4.3 Understands quality system and requirements as related to position
4.4 Ability to use hand tools
4.5 Practices proper safety guidelines and wears appropriate Personal Protection
Equipment when required.
4.6 Ability to sit or stand at computer terminal or at a machine for long periods of time
4.7 Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office
location during normal business hours designated for the position.
4.8 Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds.
4.9 An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the
employee must be physically in attendance at his / her workstation at the designated
company office location during the normal business hours designated for the position.
4.10 Other assignments as given from time to time by supervisor and management.
This position is inside working in a non climate controlled environment.
