Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. This role requires proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, ensuring that all project objectives are met on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Project Submittals review and approval.
- Perform takeoffs of materials required for project based on approved submittals.
- Negotiate with vendors and team members to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Procurement of materials required for the project to meet project schedule.
- Tracking and facilitating material deliveries.
- Attend all required meetings for the projects, as requested by General Contractor whether onsite or virtual.
- Communicate and coordinate with General Contractor about scheduling, material deliveries, installation, and project closeout.
- Estimating and tracking of change orders required for the project.
- Provide detailed documentation to installation crews from startup to completion of the projects.
- Perform quality checks during the duration of the project.
- Coordinate installation details per contract documents, approved submittals, and field conditions with both GSG installation crews and General Contractor.
- Coordinate equipment rentals needed for each project in an efficient manner.
- Communicating internally with commercial department regarding project startup, project needs, project durations, and constraints.
- Coordinate all closeout documents and warranties for each project.
- Review projects and complete billing sheet for projects each month.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools.
- Experience in layout and field measuring projects onsite.
- Experience in PartnerPak/Glazier Studio.
- Experience with Rhino fabrication.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis for informed decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
