Apartment Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking two (2) dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in general apartment maintenance and a variety of skills, including painting, demolition, installation, and general repairs. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical work is highly desirable and would be considered a strong asset. This position covers multiple properties. Company paid Fuel Reimbursement Program provided to assist in travel between properties. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and appliances.
• Handle apartment turnovers, including painting, drywall repairs, and other cosmetic improvements.
• Complete demolition and renovation work as needed for apartment units.
• Install and repair locks, appliances, and other systems in apartments.
• Address and troubleshoot maintenance requests from residents promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and code regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and common spaces.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in apartment maintenance, general repair, or similar roles.
• Knowledge and experience in plumbing and electrical work is highly preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.
• Comfort working in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
