Host/Busser/Dishwasher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area and kitchen, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with both guests and team members.

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining area, and dishwashing station.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Support waitstaff by refilling drinks, delivering food items, and responding to guest needs.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a busy environment.
• Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries when necessary.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a team.
• Previous experience in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.45 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
