The Human Resources Generalist acts as a business partner with the local management team at Texas Frac to effectively coordinate the human resources function for Texas Frac and the FLASH Family of Companies. In addition to administering staffing, training, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and compensation programs at the local level, this role is actively engaged with the implementation of strategic Human Resources initiatives, with direction from the corporate HR Team. This position reports to the corporate Director of Human Resources in Wisconsin, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Texas Frac Plant Manager. This position may require travel within the state of Texas and to the corporate office in Wisconsin.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide HR guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, policies, and employee concerns.
- Manage recruitment processes, including background checks, screenings, and pre-employment assessments.
- Oversee employee data maintenance (e.g., compensation, benefits, reviews, and terminations).
- Handle worker’s comp intake, leave administration, and safety recordkeeping.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with management on HR-related decisions and initiatives.
- Identify training needs, develop programs, and lead sessions (e.g., orientation, safety, policies).
- Conduct audits and support Safety Department with federal compliance (FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, MSHA).
- Travel required up to 10%.
- Perform administrative support and other duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–4 years in HR; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of federal/state regulations (e.g., FMLA, OSHA, DOT, EEOC).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication; Spanish fluency preferred.
- Team-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Prolonged sitting and repetitive computer use.
