Sales and Operations Planning Manager

SUMMARY

The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager is responsible for facilitating and optimizing the integrated business planning process across sales, operations, and supply chain functions. This role ensures accurate demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management to meet customer needs efficiently. The S&OP Specialist plays a pivotal role in aligning organizational goals with supply chain execution to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights.

· Production Planning: Lead the Scheduling operations to align production schedules with demand forecasts, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

· Inventory Management: Work with the Supply Chain Manager to maintain balanced inventory levels that meet service level requirements while minimizing costs.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and supply chain functions. Ensures alignment on cross site inventory builds.

· Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Scenario Planning: Develop and evaluate different scenarios to assess the impact of demand fluctuations, supply constraints, or other variables.

· Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of S&OP processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.

· Reporting: Provide regular updates on demand, supply, and inventory metrics to key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

· 7-10 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, or related roles.

· Proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Office environment with occasional visits to production facilities.

· May require periodic travel to other FlashCo locations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
