Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and dietary options.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy to enhance guest relations.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and relations.
