Design and operations Services Specialist
Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities:
The best way to describe this position is a "muti-functional" role. The job holder is primarily responsible for handling incoming customers, creating graphic design and imposition, presenting options, preparing estimates, and also on occasionhandling the production of the job. Candidates should be familiar with design/imposition of customer marketing collateral, signage, and mailing requests, be able to discuss design options with clients. Candidates must have experience working in the Print Industry preferable a Printing and Wide Format company primarily focused on the B to B market.
The job holder will be trained to run the production for specific equipment, as needed.
The job holder will support the sales efforts primarily in Loveland but also help with the design efforts in Boulder as well. There is a design/production specialist in Boulder - but sometimes the design requirements exceed her available time.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver.
This is a deadline-driven environment. One must be ready and willing to learn new skillsets and programs, and desire to continue to learn and grow. To thrive in this position, you must juggle multiple projects and priorities at once.
Specific responsibilities include:
Prepare visual options for Printed Material, Signs, and Promotional Products
Answer incoming phone calls, attend to walk-in customers, and general customer service as needed
Foster company relationships with current customers
Assisting in the production to meet agreed deadline with customers
Work with teammates team to create continued streamlined production & design processes
This position will require some travel to our Boulder operation - likely a day a week
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3 year experience in printing, graphic design and related field
- Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Sales or related field
- Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, Constant Contact
- Superior communication skills, verbal and written
- Good math aptitude
- Basic project management skills
- Excellent organization skills a must
- Punctual, a team player, and takes initiative
