Our bartenders play a crucial role in creating a memorable guest experience by crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent service.

Position Overview:
As a Bartender at Flavor Hills Myrtle Beach, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests by preparing and serving beverages according to our recipes and standards. You will be a key player in fostering a lively and welcoming atmosphere at the bar, engaging with guests, and ensuring they have a fantastic experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your expertise in mixology, product knowledge, and customer service will be essential in promoting the Flavor Hills brand and delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Flavor Hills’ recipes and quality standards.
• Customer Service: Greet guests promptly, engage them in a friendly and professional manner, and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our beverage offerings, including cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits. Stay informed about seasonal drink specials and menu changes.
• Order Management: Take orders accurately, input them into the POS system, and ensure the timely delivery of beverages.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash and credit transactions with accuracy, including processing payments, providing change, and balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
• Compliance: Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Practice responsible alcohol service by checking identification and monitoring guest consumption.
• Upselling and Promotions: Promote special offers, suggest food and beverage pairings, and encourage guests to try new or premium items.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock levels, managing wastage, and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and build rapport.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
