Job summary
Superintendent with commercial construction experience. Perform daily construction tasks as needed. Oversee sub-contractors and communicate with the team. Complete projects and tasks with top notch quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a team player
- Independent worker with the ability to motivate others
- Minimum (10) years experience in commercial construction
- Read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Perform material takeoffs
- Fill out daily reports and field records
- Competent and understanding of safety and OSHA rules
- OSHA 10 or 30 card preferred
- Experienced in ground up and interior renovations preferred
- Self-sufficient with minimum supervision required
- Familiar with Microsoft project
Position Responsibilities
The superintendent is responsible for the successful completion of the projects given to them. This includes assuring they are completed on time, within budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. The superintendent deals with customer requests, questions, and inquirers in a polite and business-like manner.
