Responsibilities
Fleet Feet Cincinnati is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Buyer, Inventory Coordinator to support our purchasing and inventory management functions. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory movement across multiple locations, and maintaining effective vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of multitasking, and comfortable working both independently and under the direction of leadership. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and take on additional responsibilities in the future.
Reports to: VP, Business Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly)
Wage: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends required for special events such as Flying Pig Weekend, Warehouse Sale, Thanksgiving Week Expo, Squad Runs, Demo Runs, and Cycle Counts.)

Qualifications
- Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order (PO) Creation: Generate and submit POs for approval.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts, balance inventory across locations, and oversee in-store auditing.
- Vendor Relations: Work with outside vendor partners to manage aging inventory, return authorizations, markdown credits, and brand replenishments.
- Ecommerce Fulfillment: Support order processing and fulfillment for online sales.
- Future Order Writing: Assist in forecasting and placing future product orders.
- Receiving & Quality Analysis: Oversee product receiving and conduct quality analysis through reporting.
- Retail Coordination: Travel between all seven retail store locations and the warehouse as needed.
- Event Planning Support: Assist in footwear-related planning for special events.
- Experience in inventory coordination, retail buying, or related fields preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established approval processes.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in inventory software and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel regularly between retail stores and warehouse locations.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required for special events.
