Overview
The Community Outreach Coordinator of a store location focuses on building relationships within our current running community as well as reaching new running and fitness communities in our surrounding area. This position supports store leadership in retaining our customer base, achieving sales objectives, and acquiring new customers. This position allows you to work collaboratively with Store Management and Staff, various departments of the Fleet Feet Store Support Team, and the local community. The person in this role is also expected to work on the floor fitting customers on a regular basis in order to maintain a connection to the customer experience, to receive feedback from customers directly, and to partner with colleagues to market upcoming events.

Responsibilities
Marketing and Outreach
- Develop and strengthen relationships with diverse community organizations, running groups, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with store leadership to manage events that drive in-store sales
- Regularly collaborate with regional Marketing point of contact from Fleet Feet Store Support Team to ensure alignment with broader company objectives
- Adhere to all Fleet Feet Brand Standards and Guidelines
- Manage website and social media content utilizing resources and materials provided by Fleet Feet for local events that appeal to a diverse population

Additional Requirements - Position requires moving around for periods of 2-4 hours without a rest break, and task sequencing and the completion of complex administrative responsibilities. Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25 lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required. Work environment includes substantial communication with customers, working in a retail environment with product displays and stockroom with inventory, and potentially slippery surfaces. Position is under minimum levels of day-to-day supervision. Some travel may be required for meetings, training or conferences.
