Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. This person will be responsible for providing a variety of human resources services including providing assistance with general staff inquiries/service to staff members and new hire onboarding and orientation. Ensure new hire paperwork is audited and in compliance with federal, state and regulatory requirements. Provides human resources support for Senior Directors, Department Managers and Staff Members.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides outstanding 1st impression and continual service to staff members and prospective staff members; serves as first point of contact for general staff questions/concerns/needs.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Facilitates all post-offer/pre-employment requirements with candidates, including reference checks, drug screens, background checks and onboarding requirements.
- Efficiently processes/audits post-offer/pre-employment paperwork and creates/maintains staff member digital files, ensuring compliance with state, federal and departmental/regulatory standards.
- Engages with candidates at various touchpoints through the selection and hiring process, tracks touchpoints accordingly, and facilitates candidates through selection process as needed.
- Provides ongoing training and assistance to staff with registration in online employee self-service, requesting time off, and accessing/updating information.
- Schedules and facilitates onboarding appointments for candidates.
- Answers all incoming telephone calls, assists walk-ins as needed, and/or directs staff to appropriate person for assistance. Gives general guidance to staff in accordance with Fleet Landing policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources or related area.
Experience:
1 years in an HR or administrative support role desired, preferably in hospitality/customer service or health care industries.
