**Position Overview:**
As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on expanding our client base through B2B efforts targeted at commercial clients and insurance agents. You’ll market Dalworth’s extensive disaster restoration services, helping clients rely on us in critical times. Strong communication skills are essential for setting clear expectations with clients and managing ongoing relationships. We encourage a collaborative, high-performance team environment where all positions contribute to shared goals. Regional travel is required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive new business growth by implementing an effective sales plan.
- Network with industry contacts and potential clients.
- Secure new clients through cold calls and appointments.
- Organize and host company events.
- Provide client education on our services.
- Research potential clients in your territory.
- Present company offerings to potential customers.
- Attend after-hours industry events.
- Build strong client relationships and close sales.
- Take a consultative approach with both new and existing clients.
- Collaborate creatively with leadership to penetrate new markets.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of two years in B2B outside sales focused on new account generation, ideally in service-based industries (Multifamily, Commercial, Insurance, Schools, or Municipalities a plus).
- Proven success in new business development and lead generation within a defined sales territory.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize key sales opportunities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Proficient in CRM software; HubSpot experience preferred.
- Comfortable using phone or tablet to track sales activities.
- Water and fire restoration industry experience is a plus but not required.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in B2B sales to commercial clients and agents.
- Valid driver’s license required.
**Compensation:**
- This role offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.
- Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 plus commission
- On-target earnings: $130,000-$150,000
