Transportation Recruiter
Basic Qualifications
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in Driver recruiting is required, as well as administrative office functions, such as computer experience, creating and maintaining reports, good oral and written communication skills, etc.).
Skill(s): Attention to Detail,Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient analytical and data processing skills; proficient PC skills, proficient organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe; knowledge of various office machines; visual and auditory skills; knowledge of DOT regulations; good dependability and attendance is a must. Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in related positions is normally required.
General Responsibilities
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to recruit and retain quality drivers; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Essential Responsibilities
The Recruiter:
- Performs a variety of duties to support Recruiting functions of the company of which include the following:
- Conducting follow up phone calls to individuals who have expressed interest in the company and provides information on the benefits of working with Fleetmaster or Englander.
- Entering or accessing data from various web portals regarding new hires, E Verify, training, and drug testing.
- Making touch base phone calls to drivers to help with retention
- Quickly responding to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, such as employment verifications, or other requests for information.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence of all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintains good attendance and exhibits good reliability.

- Performs tasks that are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
