Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for various positions within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing recruiting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster positive employee relations. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
- Conduct interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are effectively onboarded.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate information and recruitment processes.
- Perform cold calling to engage passive candidates and promote job opportunities.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Negotiate job offers and assist in the onboarding process for selected candidates.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate interactions within HRIS systems.
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing any concerns or inquiries from staff regarding the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing recruiting or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate qualifications effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations professionally.
- Knowledge of employee orientation processes and best practices in human resources.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike, fostering positive employee relations.
