The Opportunity: As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work directly with experienced Project Managers on significant land development projects. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on technical work and project management experience, setting you up for long-term career growth in civil engineering.
Key Projects & Responsibilities:
- Design comprehensive land development solutions using AutoCAD Civil3D, including:
- Subdivision layouts
- Street and infrastructure systems
- Utility integration
- Grading and stormwater management plans
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permit acquisition processes
- Apply surveying principles to enhance project accuracy and efficiency
- Contribute to project documentation, specifications, and construction documents
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely project delivery
- Support client relationships and participate in project meetings
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 2 years of land development experience
- Strong AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- North Carolina EI registration preferred
- Experience with Ajera financial management software is a plus
