Summary / Objective :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Coordinator to join our Operations and Safety team. This vital role is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training programs that enhance safety, efficiency, and knowledge across various divisions and trades. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of on-site tasks, safety protocols, and multimedia content creation skills.

Essential Responsibilities :

Training Needs Analysis :

Collaborate with department heads, supervisors, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and knowledge gaps.

Assess the most effective training methods and formats for different learning styles.

Utilize adult learning principles, needs assessment techniques, and training evaluation methodologies.

Curriculum Development :

Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with company goals and industry best practices.

Create engaging training materials such as presentations, manuals, handouts, and online modules.

Ensure materials are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible for all learners.

Content Creation :

PowerPoint : Design visually compelling presentations with multimedia elements (3 years experience).

Word : Write and format training manuals, handouts, and documents with excellent editing skills (3 years experience).

Excel : Manage training data, track results, and create reports (basic proficiency).

Adobe Creative Suite : Use Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign to create engaging graphics (2 years experience).

Adobe Premiere Pro : Edit instructional videos with high proficiency (2 years experience).

Video Recording / Photography : Capture professional footage and images with appropriate equipment and techniques.

Training Delivery :

Conduct engaging, interactive training sessions using a blend of methods, including online and hands-on instruction.

Facilitate group learning with effective communication, active listening, and participant engagement.

Evaluation and Improvement :

Collect participant feedback and analyze training data to improve effectiveness and performance outcomes.

Continuously update and refine training content to ensure relevance and impact.

Qualifications :

Required :

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3 years of experience in training or instructional design, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial settings.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and video editing.

Experience with video recording and photography equipment and techniques.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.

Preferred :

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Bilingual (English / Spanish) fluency.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
