Job Overview
Flex-N-Gate Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Production Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the overall plant's productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Predictive and Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to maintain equipment efficiency and prevent downtime.
- Equipment Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations of molds and equipment to identify areas for improvement and implement modifications as needed.
- Tool and Die Repair: Repair or modify tools and dies using machine tools and hand tools to maintain high-quality production standards.
- Inspections and Fabrication: Inspect dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects by touch or visually, and fabricate equipment as needed to meet production requirements.
- Crane Operation: Safely operate overhead cranes to transport molds and equipment as required.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with improvement items that address customer quality concerns and support production and operator needs to produce a high-quality product.
- Safety and Compliance: Understand and follow all organizational policies, procedures, and rules, and comply with all safety expectations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous automotive experience preferred.
- Injection Molding experience required.
- Moderate level of skill in repairing hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, and automation problems.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills.
- Good working knowledge of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow work schedules.
