Accounting and Advisory Instructor

Continuing Education organization offering high-quality training to professionals seeking instructions for multi-day training programs.

Company : Offer continuing professional education to accounting and advisory firms and government agencies across the nation – including 25 of the Top 100 CPA firms. Known for our highly customized, flexible skills, knowledge and leadership training that keep firms performing at the peak.

Hours / Schedule : Flexible role with in-person classes likely require travel, typically for 3 days at a time. Virtual classes delivered from home or office and are typically run in ½ day sessions over several days.

Programs are delivered primarily from April through January. Opportunity exists to instruct 3 – 12 days per month

Job Type : Direct hire as a 1009 through client

Location Requirements : On-site with travel to various locations. Remote options but also must be available to travel.

Rate : $180 / hr-$200 / hr

Job Description : Instructors will provide course work for multi-day training programs. Instructors deliver both virtual and in-person training programs to local, regional, super-regional, national and international CPA firms. Classes include new-hire training programs through experienced manager-level programs and are designed to be highly interactive and engaging. Programs include many activities, exercises, simulations, and case studies to engage the learner and to provide practice applying the content.

Successful candidates are CPAs or CAs with direct accounting, audit and tax experience and training or education experience to deliver its programs. They will leverage their public accounting experience in combination with their natural inclination towards and passion for the teaching, coaching, and instructing facet of the profession.

Qualifications :

• CPA or CA with six years, manager level or above, with public accounting firm or similar
• Recent public accounting experience
• Experience delivering classroom and / or web-based training courses
• Passion for teaching; engaging personality and teaching style
• Curious, creative, positive and fun
• Great communication skills and executive presence
