Job Description : Seeking an efficient, proactive, and detail-oriented full-time HR Coordinator. This role is pivotal in facilitating daily HR functions. The ideal candidate has a successful track record of performing in this or a similar role. For consideration, the candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources principles, general HR administration and the ability to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure end-to-end scope of HR operations and assigned projects. This key role will serve as the right hand to the HR Manager, allowing the HR Manager to focus on culture and strategic initiatives. The suitable candidate must have strong communication skills, managerial capabilities, and relevant human resources experience, preferably in a small organization. The HR Coordinator must have strong HRIS experience and be able to multitask.
Responsibilities :
- Review and select resumes during hiring processes and update databases
- Update job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Organize digital copies of employee records, ensuring appropriate employee files are maintained Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Assist in the onboarding processes, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and conduct orientations.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to HR, including digital file maintenance, HRIS entry, and updates to the employee intranet.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries by managing the HR email inbox and ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Manage and maintain employee background checks, Safesport training, CPR, First Aid, and AED Training requirements.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit inquiries.
- Prepare bi-weekly payroll for processing by ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Administer training and development programs, scheduling sessions and tracking participation.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as developing standard operating procedures, documenting policy updates, and supporting diversity programs.
- Reconcile monthly benefits statements and accurately process invoices through the accounts payable system.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to optimize HR processes and practices.
- Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. Associate’s degree or High School Diploma may be substituted with relevant years of experience.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of related experience in an HR Coordinator or Generalist role.
- 3-5 years of administrator experience with HRIS systems – experience with Paycor a plus
- Must have working multi-state (DC, MD, VA, WV) knowledge of regulatory compliance and company policies.
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive) preferred.
