REVIT/BIM Specialist – Metro Detroit Area Only
We are seeking a REVIT/BIM Specialist with expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of REVIT software, BIM workflows, and model coordination to ensure seamless collaboration across project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Implementation – Lead the integration of BIM standards, processes, and best practices across projects.
- 3D Model Creation – Develop and maintain detailed REVIT models incorporating architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) elements.
- Coordination & Clash Detection – Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate BIM models, resolve clashes, and enhance design efficiency.
- Quality Assurance – Conduct model audits to ensure accuracy, compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and adherence to project requirements.
- Documentation & Deliverables – Generate construction documents, schedules, and detailed drawings from BIM models while ensuring precision and consistency.
- Training & Support – Provide REVIT training and BIM workflow support to project teams to enhance efficiency and adoption of best practices.
- Technology & Innovation – Stay current with BIM advancements, industry trends, and emerging software tools to improve processes and methodologies.
- Client Collaboration – Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand project-specific BIM requirements and provide strategic solutions.
- Cross-Functional Teamwork – Partner with project managers, engineers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution from inception to completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Specialist, BIM Coordinator, or similar role in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Advanced proficiency in REVIT software and strong knowledge of BIM methodologies, standards, and workflows.
- Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and resolution techniques.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
- Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in REVIT or similar certifications are a plus.
