To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add an IT Project Management Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site.
Reporting to the Customer IT Manager , the student will assist our project management team in coordinating and managing various IT projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain practical experience in project management methodologies and IT operations.
What a typical day looks like :
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they align with company goals.
- Support the project manager in tracking project progress and updating documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and monitor progress.
- Help prepare project status reports and presentations for stakeholders, participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
- Research and analyze best practices and emerging trends in IT project management, assist in identifying risks and issues and propose solutions to mitigate them.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the project management framework.
