The Manufacturing Engineer (ONSITE) will be based in Milpitas, CA. The ME will deploy, launch and sustain manufacturing production lines for industrial equipment, machinery, and power equipment. The ME will work on the production floor as needed to ensure our products are produced safely, at the highest quality, delivered on time, and while maximizing efficiency.

The Manufacturing Engineer (ONSITE) will be based in Milpitas, CA. The ME will deploy, launch and sustain manufacturing production lines for industrial equipment, machinery, and power equipment. The ME will work on the production floor as needed to ensure our products are produced safely, at the highest quality, delivered on time, and while maximizing efficiency.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- Design and develop mechanical assembly processes for box builds, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of components and materials.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance productivity.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans, assembly instructions, and process flowcharts.
- Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production performance metrics and report findings to management.
- Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures,…)
- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred)
- MUST HAVE 1-3 years experience post internship
- Strong understanding of assembly techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in MSWord, Excel (proficient) and Web based tools such as Frontpage and HTML
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, design drawings and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in mechanical box build assembly.
