To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Reliability & FA Lab Support Intern located in our Milpitas, CA site.
Reporting to the Design Test Engineering Manager, the Intern will support the Failure Analysis and Reliability Laboratory and will be exposed to a wide variety of analytical lab equipment and methods used to characterize / evaluate / test electronics assemblies and products, electronics parts and materials.
What a typical day looks like :
- Assists with updating FA and Reliability Lab Capabilities
- Assists charting cross-sections measurements with Excel, create a template and train the team.
- Gets Involved in supporting ISO / IEC 17025 2017 compliance
- Assists with updating Lab documentation as needed
- Trains on Materials Characterization equipment and Techniques (like cross-sections, Dye&Pull, C3, SEM / EDX, Digital microscopes, Akrometrix...)
- Assists on material characterization as needed
- Reviews, benchmarks FA and Reliability Lab internal service costs (Dye&Pry)
- Participates in Calibration and maintenance activities.
