Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC, is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 35 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries.
We are seeking a full-time Repairs Technician to join our team!
This position is responsible for repairing mechanical seals. This includes inspecting, disassembling, assembling and repairing parts. This requires independent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude. This position would also assist with shipping and receiving, inventory and general shop maintenance. Candidates should have proven computer, organizational and mechanical experience. Proficiency with hand tools is required. Prior experience with mechanical seals is preferred, but not required. One-on-one training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and repairing mechanical seals
- Cleaning, disassembling, and assembling mechanical seals
- Accurately manage and review inventory
- Maintain inventory and job box labeling system
- General shop upkeep and maintenance
- Unloading freight with forklift
Qualifications:
- Experience using measuring tools is preferred
- Experience working in a warehouse or production type of environment is preferred
- Forklift certification is preferred
- A willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform moderate lifting of materials (around 25 lbs.), sit, stand, climb and bend on a regular basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
