Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analyst

Overview :

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analyst to manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery in Revenue Cycle Management. The RCM Analyst will monitor, identify, analyze, and provide guidance to business partners and service teams to maintain and improve service delivery commitments.

Essential Duties :

  • Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable (AR) for a portfolio of RCM accounts, acting as a primary liaison between clients and service delivery teams.
  • Engage directly with RCM clients and internal stakeholders to meet client requirements.
  • Gather data, analyze performance metrics, and assist in developing and executing improvement plans.
  • Provide recommendations to business partners and service teams for innovative solutions and process changes.
  • Offer key performance analysis and audit feedback to internal business partners and service teams.
  • Monitor billing, reimbursement, and collections to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, resolving or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Obtain, organize, and share relevant client information with business partners and service teams to ensure up-to-date communication.
  • Provide training and education on standard operating procedures, workflow directives, and system usage, dedicating approximately 30%-40% of training time to ongoing development.

Requirements / Skills :

  • Deep knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management, including billing, collections, or remittance posting.
  • Understanding of insurance carriers’ payment regulations, reimbursement structures, coinsurance, deductibles, and contractual adjustments.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with clinical lab billing preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of E / M, ICD-9-CM & ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and offshore team members.
  • Familiarity with Telcor and Xifin (if applicable).
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in physician or hospital billing, collections, and / or remittance.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
