Flexion Inc. a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Technical Analyst to work on a long-term consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison, WI, but this job can be done remotely from the United States.
Duties for this position will include :
- Works with the appropriate business groups throughout the application lifecycle to gather requirements, including design creation, code reviews, and test case sign off.
- Collaborates with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design, and creation of quality technical solutions.
- Clearly and concisely communicates verbal and written requirements and analysis output to development.
- Aligns technical solutions with business and strategic visions while complying with the organization's architectural standards.
- Identifies areas for simplification and bundling of requests to streamline project execution and make recommendations towards the need to develop new or reuse existing functionality.
- Provide estimation of level of effort through partnership with system owners and all affected functions.
- Collect requirements and convert them into technical documentation for teams to consume.
Required skills and experience :
A foundational understanding of insurance principles is desirable.
At least three years of experience using SQL for database querying and report generation.
At least three years of experience with the Jira / Atlassian suite for project tracking and collaboration.
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
A nuanced comprehension of customer journey mapping, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and visualization.
The pay rate for this position is in the $55-63 / hr range.
