Role: SecDevOps Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid-3 Days Onsite/Week)
Type: Contract (Open for C2C or W2)
Must Have: Security Engineering, Vulnerability Scanning, Container (Docker/Kubernetes), Scripting, DLP, EDR.
About the Role:
This position will work directly with teams inside and outside of GIS as part of our overarching security strategy for corporate and marketplaces Threat Management and Response initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity and developing/automating creative solutions.
As a Security Engineer, you will be expected to engineer and operationalize various systems/products which aid in detecting and preventing threats against the client's systems.
Requirement:
- 6-10 years of experience in Security Administration & SecDevOps.
- Administering/Maintaining tools like DLP, Vulnerability Scanning, Splunk, Data Activity Monitoring, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Scripting experience in Python, Shell, or Go.
- Expertise in SecDevOps, configuration management (Salt, Git, Ansible), automation, and orchestration.
- Hands on experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
