What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED POWDER COAT PAINTER position at Flextrude?
SCOPE / SUMMARY :
We are looking for a very Experienced Powdercoat Painter to operate the equipment that paints the product on the Flextrude Paint Line.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
- Responsible for the performance of activities in the Powder Coating of Aluminum Extrusions
- Accountable for painting, identifying and resolving problems. An important element of the role is to ensure all material being painted is done correctly according to the customer's order
- Paint products using specified paint, meeting required cosmetic, and customer requirements
- Verify paint application on parts using blueprints, and following company standards, knowledge of powder coating booths is helpful but not necessary
- Continued participation in paint booth education
- Will be trained in mill thickness gaging, in using Icontrol and PLCs
- Responsible for maintaining and replacing paint booth parts
- Will be involved in other duties including cleanup and inventory counts
- Maybe required to operating the forklift safely.
