The Plant Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties as well as assisting with day-to-day plant functions. Duties may include but are not limited to helping with all activities on the inspection floor by collecting, reviewing, verifying, and completing reports concerning to operations, perform as a backup person if the Plant Manager or Supervisor are not available, and assist the Production Supervisor in the following duties which include but are not limited to:
*****Must be flexible to work Monday - Friday (10 hours day shift) *****
Key Responsibilities
- Review the instructions for each project and communicate with other Administrators.
- Create folders with instructions and project order forms.
- Verify the quantities on each pallet received and the total amount of rejections.
- Complete Inspection Reports in the system and ensure plant leadership reviews prior to sending to the customer service team.
- Answer phone calls when necessary.
- Help manage and assist the contaminate retrieval process and CR reports, when needed.
- Any other duty assigned by the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Send and receive packages and mail.
- Manage front office by greeting and ensuring all visitors conform to company policies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Must comply with GMP’s.
- Experience in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, product quality, or related services (preferred).
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish desired.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.
- Proficient with Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Experience with office equipment (copier, scanner etc.).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
