What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Registration Clerk position at - FLH?
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the Patient Registration System Manager, is responsible for the coordination and work flow duties pertaining to the registration process and Medical Necessity for all patients. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
The Lead Clerk will be responsible for rotating on-call coverage for Registration in the event that a staff member has an emergency, calls-in for a shift, or an obstacle presents that hinders a patient to be registered.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS:
Education: Associates degree in business, healthcare management, or other related field of study required
Experience: One to two (1-2) years' experience required, with three to five (3-5) years' experience preferred. Ability to type accurately and fast. Good communication and written skills.
