What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Recruiter position at FlightSafety International?
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Recruiter works closely with hiring managers, TA leaders and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs and develop, implement and refine a well-rounded recruitment strategy that delivers quality candidates to assigned business units. The Senior TA Partner is an integral thought partner that drives all full-cycle recruiting activities, proactive sourcing and pipeline strategies, leads projects and mentors teammates.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Leads full-cycle recruiting activities to include sourcing, reviewing resumes, pre-screening candidates, and offer process.
- Develops and implements comprehensive and targeted candidate attraction and development techniques to identify a high quality, diverse candidate pool.
- Aggressively source passive candidates for tough-to-fill positions and creatively source for niche roles.
- Cultivate strategic relationships and frequent communication with hiring managers across all business units to understand the needs and roles to be filled by advising, influencing and challenging when needed.
- Provides consultative feedback to deliver insights and solutions to achieve hiring goals and assist in selection decisions. Establish credibility and foster partnership among key stakeholders.
- Leverage social media, local and online career fairs, and job boards to increase corporate visibility and identify potential candidates.
- Develop and nurture an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of hiring goals.
- Effectively recruits for a variety of positions at various levels and difficulty. Adapts recruiting approach to fit the need of each search.
- Acts as lead on Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives and provides mentorship and training to less experienced team members.
- Identifies areas of opportunity for continuous improvement and proactively delivers solutions to challenges.
- Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all talent acquisition touch points and enhance the FlightSafety International brand.
- Pre-qualify resumes, conduct phone / video interviews and present qualified applicants to assigned hiring managers for further consideration.
- Maintain or exceed established KPIs, including time to fill, hiring target goals, quality of hire metrics, and hiring manager satisfaction scores, etc.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.
