Press Brake Operator

Flint Cliffs Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications. This is a critical role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the production of high-quality metal components. Responsibilities- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job- Load and unload materials onto the machine- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results- Troubleshoot issues with the machine or tooling and make necessary repairs or adjustments- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience- 1-3 years' experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations- Familiarity with quality inspection processes- Experience working with laser cutting machines is a plus- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders- Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in metal fabrication- Experience operating a lathe or crane is beneficial.
