Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing social media for the Group and divisions. In addition, the position supports digital advertising placement and reporting.?
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee social media strategy for the Group and divisions?
- Manage social media accounts for Group and divisions across multiple platforms
- Create visual assets for social media and digital marketing, including videography and photography on location as needed
- Provide social media coverage of Group and division events and programs; will require occasional evenings and weekends
- Monitor trends and encourage adoption of emerging social media tools within the organization
- Place digital advertising for search, display, and social media
- Measure and report effectiveness of activities
Other Responsibilities
- Data entry and content updates for Group and division web properties as needed?
- Represent Communications on internal committees, as assigned
- Support Group and division events as needed?
Requirements
Key Credentials and Personal Qualities?
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, and/or 2-4 years of direct experience
- Experience working in digital marketing, social media management, with social media platforms and tools in a professional setting?
- Strong writing skills?
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills, strong organizational and project management skills; sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and detail-oriented?
- Ability to work well with diverse groups at all levels.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill with technology, including but not limited to personal computers, desktop or electronic publishing systems, scanners, and other electronic communication equipment
- Intermediate knowledge and skill with interactive technologies of the Web
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office and other related applications.
- Ability to adhere to priorities, meet multiple deadlines and effectively present and explain complex information.
