Shift: 12 hours, on a rotating schedule of 3 nights on and 2 nights off, then 2 nights on with 3 nights off (every other weekend off).

Flint Group, a leading provider of printing solutions, is seeking a skilled Printing Ink Technician/Graphic Technician to join our team in Lanett, AL. As an Ink Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless production of high-quality Water Base Print Ink meeting the demands of our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the press schedule to formulate Water base inks needed for upcoming jobs.
- Accurately fill out ink inventory paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Mix standard and matched color ink, sample ink batches, print swatches, and perform quality color checks.
- Manufacture the required quantity of ink based on coverage requirements.
- Use color meter and/or spectrometer to match sample colors for customers if necessary.
- Handle and dispose of all inks properly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the ink room office, storage area, and mixing area.
- Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be able to see color.
- Must pass a background and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of successful manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally 100 pounds), work in extreme temperatures, and stand for extended periods.
