Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead and oversee our HR department. The HR Director will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organizational goals. This position involves managing key functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training and development, and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational growth and culture.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Manage a team of HRBP’s and assist with development of career plans as well as coaching on how to lead their business units.
Talent Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
- Develop and implement programs for employee engagement, recognition, and career development.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Assist with DE&I.
- Address and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Lead HR audits and manage risk related to employment practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing employees.
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create and analyze HR metrics and reports.
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel
