About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, handling policy renewals, claims, invoicing, and other key tasks. You’ll work closely with Sales Executives, Marketing Consultants, and underwriters to deliver exceptional service and support. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about client service, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their skills in the insurance industry.
What You’ll Do
- Client Servicing & Account Management: Be the main contact for clients, handling their insurance questions, policy changes, and ongoing account needs to guarantee satisfaction and strong relationships. Proactively communicate to foster long-term client retention.
- Account Renewal & Remarketing: Manage the renewal process, prepare documents, gather quotes, and make certain clients receive the best coverage options for retention and revenue growth. Collaborate with Sales to identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaboration with Underwriters and Claims: Work with underwriters for quotes, follow up on renewals, and handle claims to promote smooth operations and minimize risks. Verify the accuracy of policy data in the system.
- Policy Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain accurate policy data and follow procedures to reduce errors and support compliance and risk management.
What You Bring
- Education and Work Experience: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have industry designation of CISR or equivalent and a willingness to pursue additional designations as needed (CIC, CRM, AAI, ARM, CPCU etc.).
- Possess and maintain a Colorado multiple lines license.
- Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR

- Client Relationship Management: Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and insurance company underwriters.
- Policy and Account Management: Excellent attention to detail and experience managing insurance policies, renewals, and documentation through agency management systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of client data.
- Renewals and Underwriting Support: Solid understanding of the insurance renewal and remarketing process, with the ability to evaluate loss ratios, prepare proposals, and work collaboratively with underwriters.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines, while adhering to workflow processes and guidelines.

- Salary Range - Starting pay for this nonexempt position is $30.00 - $34.00/hour. Pay may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, commensurate with experience. In addition to regular pay, this position is eligible to participate in our annual performance incentive program. Bonuses may be available for client and employee referrals and for successful completion of approved industry designations.
