Job Title: Field SuperintendentPurpose of Position:
Ensure field operations are operating at the highest levels of safety, quality, timeliness, and optimum productivity (on budget) in a manner that facilitates long-term client relationships.Responsibilities:
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure the safety of all personnel in company and client facilities, maintaining compliance with all company, customer, federal, and state safety regulations and requirements.
- Leadership & Professionalism: Set a personal example in all aspects of professional conduct, including appearance, punctuality, verbal communication, and safety practices.
- Installation Knowledge: Possess a complete understanding of installation techniques, equipment, and tools.
- Field Supervision: Provide direction and assistance to all field personnel regarding proper installation techniques, using industry knowledge and best practices.
- Pre-Job Planning: Visit complex jobs before commencement, anticipate crew requirements, and ensure materials and tools are available.
- Communication: Keep Project Manager, Lead Installers, Scheduler, and Operations Manager informed about potential issues, exceptions, and jobsite conditions.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in and provide installation strategic planning for outgoing bids when requested.
- Process Improvement: Develop and recommend processes and systems that optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Training & Development: Review installation personnel to ensure they have the proper skills and training, and identify necessary training opportunities.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Sales, Estimating, Accounting, and other departments to fulfill project objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Report potential issues or setbacks to the Project Manager or Operations Manager as soon as they arise.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize electronic communication tools, including cell phones, text, and email, efficiently.
- Equipment & Tools Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry tools and equipment, ensuring team members have proper training on their use.
- Travel Requirements: Travel to job sites as necessary throughout Oregon and SW Washington. Overnight or out-of-town travel may be required.
- Work Hours: Must be available for occasional overtime, weekend work, and on-call responsibilities, depending on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
