Key Responsibilities
- Client Development: Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with homeowners, builders, designers, and commercial developers.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire sales process—from initial consultations and estimates to final orders and follow-ups.
- Consultative Sales: Guide clients in selecting the right materials to meet design needs, budgets, and project timelines.
- Field Work: Conduct site visits, attend industry events, and meet with clients to foster strong, long-term relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Address client concerns, ensure accurate order execution, and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, recommend new products, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate sales projections, client records, and weekly progress reports.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience in high-end interior surfaces (tile, stone, mosaics) or a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a client-focused, consultative sales environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively, understand client needs, and offer tailored solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and client details.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively seek new business.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM systems.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accurate quotes, invoices, and follow-ups to maintain client satisfaction.
- Ability to travel locally, including visiting job sites and attending industry events as needed.
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. when handling product samples.
