Responsibilities
An Estimator/Project Manager in our flooring group will review and prepare budgets, estimates, and solicit/evaluate quotes from suppliers/subcontractors for construction projects. Upon award, they will be responsible managing the project until completion with support staff from seasoned superintendents and project engineers. A background with flooring is preferred, but not required.
Estimating Responsibilities
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple estimates and proposals concurrently
- Perform accurate and thorough quantity take-offs while using multiple software systems and web applications for estimating
- Properly evaluate drawings, specs, and other bid documents for all involved scope
- Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and perform detailed scope evaluations for all trade work
Project Manager Responsibilities
- Submission of all required samples, product data, and shop drawings for approval by the architect.
- Review shop drawings and relay pertinent information to the field team.
- Procurement of all project required materials.
- Manage, price and track all change orders, plan revisions and RFI’s.
- Manage project costs and forecast/analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
- Submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals & warranties to ensure a smooth and successful closeout.
- Attend progress meetings throughout projects, as required.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
- Required - Bluebeam (or similar) PDF viewer/takeoff software
- Microsoft Applications (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Preferred - Measure Square 8 or On-Screen Take-off
Education and Experience Requirements
- Education: A.S. or B.S. in Construction or equivalent field experience
- Experience: Minimum of 2 - 5 years commercial construction experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
