Integrated Pest Management Associate

The IPM associate perform all Integrated Pest Management activities under the guidance of the designated IPM Captain, with minimal direct supervision, to support the day-to-day cultivation operations in the stocking and upkeep of a cannabis production facility. This role identifies, monitors, tracks, and controls insect, fungal, and bacterial populations within the cultivation areas and is versed in treatment through biological and chemical controls. Candidates must understand application methodology including the calibration and application procedures of equipment, and all local state guidelines, while maintaining attention to detail, precise recording keeping, and inventory tracking. The pay is $15 an hour to start and $17 an hour after 30 days.

Shifts available:

· Wednesday - Sunday 3:00pm-11:30pm

Daily job responsibilities may include:

Identifies pests and pathogens and their levels in the cultivation areas.

Monitors pest and pathogen levels, and updates IPM leads and area supervisors accordingly.

Monitors crop health in cultivation areas, using a variety of tools and instruments.

Tracks product usage in plant protectant preparation

Maintains clear records and logs and ensures timely submission of all required records.

Stay current on practices and all local, state, and federal codes and regulations related to IPM in agriculture.

Maintain effective written and oral communication with IPM team leads or/and Cultivation Director.

Follow standard operating procedures for assigned tasks and projects; follows all safety protocols.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Must be 21 or older

· Able to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain Agent ID card

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Reliable transportation year-round

· Must be organized and able to take direction

· Be a team player and work well with others

· Hardworking and able to flex as needed to various job duties

· Can stand for extended periods of time

· Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

· Knowledge of cannabis industry and applications a plus, but not required
